FUNDRAISERS EVENTS

Below is a list of pending fund-raisers, with details of each event. In order that each event be successful, we will need lots of volunteers. If you can volunteer, please contact, Peggy Dillis. (click here)

New Items:

• SPHS Playing Cards - They are very cool and only $5.00 a deck
• Tiger t-shirts - In Pink and in Grey, only $10.00 each

Meet the Tiger Night - Karen Halsema is Chairing the PG table during Meet the Tiger Night on September 18th. Please contact Karen if you would like to help with sales, collect parent emails, or donations during the event. Set up and sales are from 5:00 to 6:00 and from 7:00 to 7:45 (Karen's cell is 512-496-4526 or email at khalsema@kw.com)

Our Treasurer will provide a financial update at our next meeting!!

UPCOMING EVENTS:

Fuddruckers - Starting in October, every second Thursday of the month, 15% of the proceeds for all meals purchased (lunch and dinner) will go to 2010 Project Graduation - more info to come at our next meeting!

Applebee's Pancake Breakfast (La Frontera) - Mark your calendars and spread the word - Saturday, November 14th - Tickets are only $6.00 and $4.00 of every ticket sold will be donated to benefit 2010 SPHS Project Graduation. Tickets will be available (to purchase and sell) at the next Booster meeting.

Golf Tournament/Auction - Peggy Dillis and Alma Campos are Co-Chairing the PG Golf Tournament this Sprint!! It wil be held at Forest Creek Golf Course, more info to come but if you would like to volunteer time or make donations, please contact Peggy (kdils@aol.com) or Alma (camposa3@nationwide.com).

Prom Fashion Show - This Spring, Bryn Jones will be Chairing the fashion show in the Spring, more info to come but if you are interested in volunteeering, please contact Bryn (bryn@austin.rr.com).

5K Run - Lynette Caswell is Chairing the run, please contact her if you would like to participate as a runner/walker or to volunteer. Please contact Lynette (cazcaswell@austin.rr.com).

FUNDRAISING UPDATE: We have been very busy with our fundraising efforts!

Pet Clinic & Freshmen Orientation - A HUGE THANK YOU to Marty Yelle, Kim Quaide, Suzanne Cox and the Student Volunteers that helped to jumpstart our fundraising efforts!!!!!!

UT Concessions - We manned our first UT Concession stand over the weekend - thanks to all of the volunteers and for the leadership of Miguel & Lyndale Mercado and David & Suzanne Cox. Volunteers are needed for the next home game against Texas Tech on September 19th (and future games) - please contact Suzanne Cox if you'd like to volunteer - Note that 13 is the age limit. Table Sales - Sally Hooper has agreed to Chair our fundraiser table sales - please contact Sally if you would like to volunteer your time and talent to help with sales during our football games. Sally can be reached via email at jhooper@austin.rr.com.
