Below is a list of pending fund-raisers, with details of each event. In order that each event be successful, we will need lots of volunteers. If you can volunteer, please contact, Roxanne Hill. (click here)
Fundraising/Event Guidelines
Project Graduation 2009
In order to provide adequate participation and eliminate over committing, the following (not inclusive) guidelines have been put into place.
- A calendar will be provided with dates, number of volunteers and if possible start/finish times of each fundraiser at least 60 days prior to event.
- Three weeks prior to an event, a chairperson will need to be in place or fundraiser/event will be cancelled.
- If someone has been designated as chair but the minimum amount of volunteers have not been met, the fundraiser/event will be cancelled.
- It is expected that if you volunteer for an event, and can not make it for what ever reason, a call and live connection should be made to either the event chair, volunteer coordinator or fundraising VP as much in advance as possible.
- The same chair should not be the same for back to back events. This of course will depend on the person chairing. (The goal here is to not over commit and cause burn out)
- The chair will be responsible for determining the number of volunteers and how each event/fundraiser should be ran.

Fuddruckers Benefit Day - December 9, January 13, February 10, March 10, April 14, and May 12
The 2nd Tuesday of each month is Stony Point Project Graduation day at Fuddruckers, just go to the Fuddruckers in Round Rock any time that day and tell them you are there to support Stony Point Project Graduation before you place your order. Then enjoy your meal knowing proceeds from your order will go to SPHS Project Graduation.
Dodgeball Tournament - February 21, 2009

Pet Clinic - March 4, 2009 - SP9 - 5 to 7 p.m.

Dr. Tarlton will be providing low cost pet vaccinations.
We will need five to six volunteers to help hand out paperwork, take money, punch tags and help with the animals.
RRISD 5th Annual Project Graduation 5K Run/Walk - March/April 2009
Bill Schroeder will be returning as the Race Director. He is looking for committee members from all four Round Rock High Schools. Meetings will begin shortly after school starts. If you are interested in being on the committee, please contact Bill Schroeder. (click here)

Prom Fashion Show - April 18, 2009 - times to be announced

Committee members still needed and we will need volunteers the night of the event.
Prom Fashion Show is a Stony Point Tradition, the models are Stony Point students. Seniors wear formal Prom wear and underclassmen wear casual wear. Clothes are borrowed from places like The Dress Shoppe, David's Bridal, Al's Formal Wear, Men's Wearhouse, and the Buckle.

Are You Smarter than a High School Student - Spring 2009
Chairperson needed
We need a Chairperson and committee members for this event. The concept is like the TV show, "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader", we would have Stony Point Principals and Teachers go against some of our brightest Stony Point Students. If we could get some School Board members to participate that would be great! Please contact Octavia Browder, (click here), if you are willing to chair this event.
